In addition to the Project Ground Rules, below are a few other philosophies we try to follow.
1. Read from a good book everyday.
Fiction or non-fiction. It doesn’t matter. Never let that reading habit lapse.
2. Keep a journal.
There is no requirement as to how often we write in it, but we have to have a safe space to record life’s trials and tribulations.
3. Meditate for a moment each day.
We’re not purists in how it gets done. With or without music. During exercise. While driving. It doesn’t matter. We spend a moment each day self-managing our emotions and outlook. We literally or cognitively sit in our chair of thanksgiving each day.
